Vikings The Immersive Experience

Hamburg. London. Vienna. Touring

The smell of wood and sea. A forest that belongs to no century. And then – a longship.

Wood. Cold air. The low sound of something ancient. And then, at the end of it all, a longship rising out of the dark.

Vikings: The Immersive Experience is a TSC Originals production, where everything converges in its purest form. Projection, sound and physical world-building working as one.

What we built

The story follows King Ragnar Lodbrok and Queen Aslaug, drawn from historical sources, opening in 793 AD with the raid on Lindisfarne. Four environments build toward the heart of it. The Forest of Time, mist and runic stones. Yggdrasil, the Tree of Light, where a VR journey opens Aslaug's saga. The Cloud Room, where time and direction dissolve. And then the longship rises, monumental projections flooding the walls, the floor and a sail descending from the ceiling, with thundering waves and orchestral sound. World premiere in Hamburg, November 2025. London’s Dock X from March 2026, the largest immersive Viking experience ever built in the UK. Vienna's Marx Halle opens in September 2026.

At the 16th Eventex Awards, the Vikings saga won two golds, for Set Design and for Use of Audiovisual, a silver for Immersive Experience, and a bronze for Multisensory Experience.

The challenge

Build a world that carries the full weight of the Viking saga and can travel: open in Hamburg, then London, then Vienna, holding the same language while being rebuilt for each venue.

The first gasp always comes earlier than people expect, well before the big reveal. That’s when we know it’s working.
