CSMART Academy in Almere is Carnival Corporation’s global training centre, where maritime professionals come to prepare for the real thing. A destination in its own right, because the standard it sets doesn’t exist anywhere else.
What we built
TSC’s simulation division built and maintains the ship bridge systems at the heart of that preparation. Full mission bridges that reproduce the exact controls, displays and physics of cruise ships across every class. Not approximations. Step aboard the actual vessel afterwards and it feels like a space you already know.
The challenge
Train the people responsible for the largest cruise ships afloat against conditions they can’t safely create at sea to a standard high enough to raise the bar for the whole industry.
