We build worlds for a living. The real ones come first.

ESG can sound like a compliance exercise. For us it is the same instinct we bring to everything we build: get the layers right, and something shifts that would not have shifted otherwise. Here is what we hold ourselves to. In numbers, with dates.

We have targets. And a deadline.

Live marketing burns energy and makes waste. Most of our field skips that part. We think it is where the work starts.

Health & Wellbeing / 2025-2030

People build the worlds. We look after the people.

You cannot make something felt if the people making it are running on empty. So we put real support in place, for everyone, not a chosen few: boot camps, healthy office lunches, informal activities, a vitality program and work-life balance coaches. The number we hold ourselves to: 80% taking part in the organized Buddy activities.

Diversity, equal opportunity & inclusion / 2025-2030

No idea too strange. No person left out.

We have said it before: we do not work with jerks. The flip side of that is a place where everyone has a way in, and a way to speak up. Speaking up. Every one of us knows they can consult our internal confidential advisor about DE&I matters, and report a DE&I incident to that same advisor. Structure. A DE&I committee in place by 2030 at the latest, and regular conversations with our Employee Forum on participation and consultation. As a habit, not a formality. Open doors. We stay an IND sponsor, so we can keep recruiting and hiring knowledge immigrants wherever they are.

GOOD & TRANSPARENT ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND SUSTAINABLE PROCUREMENT / 2025-2030

We hold ourselves to the standard we sell.

Trust is earned layer by layer, and it falls apart the moment the inside stops matching the outside. So we keep the inside tidy. We are certified against international information-security standards, and we stay that way. 100% of us are trained on information security and privacy awareness and on the TSC Code of Conduct, and have signed up to it. Every supplier we can see into knows how they put sustainability into practice, in their own house and across their value chain. And ESG is not a box we tick beside supplier selection: it is part of how we choose and assess suppliers in the first place.

ECONOMIC PRODUCTIVITY & INNOVATION / 2025-2030

Curiosity is the job. We keep ours sharp.

A curious, courageous collective only stays curious if it keeps learning, so we make the learning non-negotiable. Every year, every one of us takes at least one training course on building and looking after the products and services we make. Tracked honestly, through development plans and performance reviews.

The footprint, in three scopes.

We measure what we burn and we bring it down.
Base year 2022, deadline 2030, with the latest measured figure shown so you can see exactly where we stand.

  • Scope 1. Cleaner where we drive.

A 50% cut in CO2 from fossil fuels in the TSC car fleet by 2030 against 2022, moving to hybrid and electric: 26,3 tons in the base year, down to a target of 13,1 tons by 2030. Since 2025, no new fully fossil-fuel car joins the fleet, and pool cars are hybrid or 100% electric. Where we stand: 38,0 tons in 2024.

  • Scope 2. The buildings, on clean power.

The target for building-energy CO2 is simple: zero. By 2028 we steer toward 100% Netherlands-generated renewable energy, procured by the property owner, with certificates covering annual emissions where needed. Where we stand: 32,7 tons in 2024.

  • Scope 3. The hard part. The big part.

Everything outside our own walls, which is most of it: a 25% cut in CO2 per employee by 2030 against 2022, even as we grow. Business travel: 25% less from flights by 2030, taking the train for journeys under 750 km where the work allows, and cutting trips through local partners and our own foreign satellite offices. Commuting: 50% more public-transport kilometres by 2030, and more on two wheels through a (lease) bicycle plan. Waste, products and IT: 25% less greenhouse gas from office and project waste by 2030 against 2025 through 100% separation at source, with the baseline measured in 2025; 50% less from how our products are used by 2030 against 2024, using the most energy-efficient LED components from 2025 on; and 25% less from disposing of our products and our own IT, through return schemes and responsible processing, by us and by our customers. Where we stand: 2.189 tons in 2024.

Reviewed every year. Out loud.

None of this means anything if it lives in a drawer. We measure it, we publish it, and we update it every year. Hold us to it. No claims we cannot show. No targets we will not name.
