Revolution Earth
Every choice reshapes the sky overhead.
Since December 2023, Revolution Earth has been running at the Discovery Museum in Kerkrade. It is built for teenagers and the adults standing next to them, and the room decides together how it ends.
What we built
Visitors move through the three industrial revolutions on projected canvases, then meet four teenagers living 70 years into a future that went wrong. In the Earth Theatre, a 12-meter round well projects a film of the planet as it is now, zooming in on the damage. Then three games hand the future back to the room. Every choice reshapes the landscape overhead, and a tree of light at the center pulses in response, brighter the more people work together. It ends in a mirrored infinity room, with a spoken-word film by Justin Samgar.
The challenge
Make the climate crisis something a family can act on, not just worry about. Warn without leaving anyone hopeless.
“You do not lecture a kid into caring about the planet. You hand them the controls and let them feel what changes.”
