Vikings opens in Vienna. With a bronze on board.

Somewhere in Vienna's Marx Halle, a longship is waiting for its sea. After Hamburg and London, Vikings: The Immersive Experience opens here on 23. September. Third city in under eleven months.

Visitors follow King Ragnar Lodbrok and Queen Aslaug from the raid on Lindisfarne in 793 AD through four rooms: the Forest of Time, Yggdrasil, the Cloud Room and the longship, with a sail descending from the ceiling and waves crashing all around.

The saga stays the same. The building, the ceiling height and the way in change with every city.

Just before the opening, the Creativepool Annual 2026 awarded Vikings Bronze in Spatial Design. It joins two Eventex golds, a silver and a bronze from earlier this year.

Produced by Alegria Exhibition and presented in Austria with CreARTive Group, Vikings runs at the Marx Halle until 10. January 2027.
