POLARWELTEN opens in Munich. A world premiere in ice and light.

Somewhere in Munich’s Pineapple Park, the northern lights are already on. POLARWELTEN, the immersive exhibition on the Arctic and Antarctica, opens to the public as a world premiere on 30. October.

The premiere begins with a red carpet event on 28. October, followed by an exclusive press tour with a look behind the scenes on 29. October.

Visitors set out on an expedition through themed rooms: polar night and midnight sun, the wildlife of the poles, international polar research and life in the Arctic. At its heart is a 360° room where, for around 25 minutes, monumental projections, light, movement and natural sound carry you across glaciers and under the aurora. The ice isn’t real. Your senses won’t believe that for a second. Interactive stations and photo points make it a trip for the whole family.

COFO Entertainment commissioned TSC as general contractor to create, design and build the exhibition, from the first plan to opening day.

One premiere, two sets. A second POLARWELTEN opens in Cologne on 27. November.

Produced by COFO Entertainment and presented by RTL, with HX Expeditions as partner, POLARWELTEN runs Tuesday to Sunday at the Pineapple Cube, Arnulfstraße 195, Munich.
