Nik Benner on the work behind Munich Airport.
What does it take to get a project like this over the line? Not the concept, the delivery. Nik Benner, Director Accounts at TSC since early 2020, lives on that question. His latest answer went live on-site at Munich Airport Terminal 1-Pier just these past weeks: three curved LED ribbons arching through the hall, 28 metres of Bavaria, from the Olympiapark to the Zugspitze in spring. Travellers landing from Dubai, Doha, New York and Lagos look up and see one clean gesture. What Benner sees is months of sequencing, sign-offs and a few hundred small decisions that all had to line up before the first pixel moved. Good account work is the craft of making that invisible, so the story is the only thing left in the room.
