Leigh Sachwitz opens the toolbox.

What does a room have to do before anyone in it feels anything? Leigh Sachwitz, Chief Strategy Officer at TSC, has been working on that question in Berlin since the 1990s, and on Tuesday, 1. September at 02:00 PM CET she takes it apart in public. Light Lab Licht, DiGidot's free webinar series with the German chapter of the IALD, gives her 75 minutes and an audience that runs from lighting programmers to architects. She will go through the layers one at a time: light, image, sound, physical space. The argument underneath is the one she has never dropped. Narrative drives the piece, emotion carries the architecture, and technology stays invisible while doing most of the work. Seventy-five minutes is a short version of a method that usually needs a building to explain.
